Sweet Rella is a former Winnie’s Way grant recipient for her first leg surgery. When her leg was reinjured and required amputation, we wanted to help her out again! What a journey it has been for this sweet girl, but she is now a happy tripod and will have a wonderful life with her furever family!
What an honor for Winnie’s Way to be able to present our latest grant award to sweet Bengal! When HSNWLA rescued this handsome dude from animal control, he was dragging his left front leg. Bengal received excellent veterinary care but had to have his leg amputated. Now he is an adorable tripod who is no longer suffering in pain, & he is so sweet & happy! During our check presentation, he showered us with kisses!
Look at sweet Dabble, the latest recipient of a Winnie’s Way grant award! She is so adorable & such a happy little dog! POLA Foundation rescued this sweet little girl and is addressing all of her medical needs. Dabble has mammory tumors which are cancerous and needs a double mastectomy. Winnie’s Way is honored to be able to contribute to this sweet girls care!
Sweet Rella is the latest recipient of a Winnie’s Way grant award! This sweet girl was found near the interstate and was likely hit by a car. Among other injuries, she had a broken pelvis and leg. As you can see, she has had surgery and is now healing nicely. The wonderful folks at the Humane Society of NW Louisana are seeing to it that she receives the absolute best care! Hopefully she will regain full use of her leg, but regardless, she will make someone a wonderful and special girl one day. Stay tuned for updates on this sweetheart! Winnie’s way is so glad to be a part of Rella’s healing journey!
It’s another Winnie’s Way double dip! How about these charming pups?? Sweet Mildred & Mr. Wobbles are the latest recipients of Winnie’s Way grant awards! Mildred wasn’t feeling too perky on grant award day, as she recently had surgery to remove her remaining eye which was causing her significant pain. But she will soon be her sweet & playful self again. Blind doggies lead perfectly normal & happy lives, so don’t let that deter you from adopting! Mr. Wobbles has some neurological issues (as did our sweet Winnie, so near & dear to our hearts), but he is the sweetest & silliest boy. Ninna’s Road to Rescue takes such wonderful care of so many rescue doggies! These pups are “specially-abled” & Winnie’s Way is so glad to be a part of their stories.
This handsome dude is fighting what is likely cancer, but he is still spunky & such a joy! Carley’s Angels provides such amazing care to so many senior dogs.. Winnie’s Way is happy to be able to contribute to such a deserving organization!
Sweet Gia is the latest recipient of a Winnie’s Way grant award! Gia had a large hole in her heart and required life-saving heart surgery. She is now back at HSNWLA and recovering well! Winnie’s Way is so blessed to be a part of sweet Gia’s road back to health and to a furever loving home!
It was a double-dip from Winnie’s Way! Daisy and Jazzy were the TWO recipients of the latest Winnie’s Way grant award! These sweet pups both have heart murmurs and require surgery asap. Winnie’s Way is so glad to be a part of their journey! Thank you LA Baby Mommas for the love and care you provide for so many rescue doggies, including so many with special needs!
This awesome dude is Ryker, & he is the latest recipient of a Winnie’s Way grant award! Ryker has been through so much. He jumped out of the bed of a truck where he was being taken to be surrendered to an open intake shelter… So he ended up being surrendered in terrible condition, broken bones.. just so sad. But then the amazing folks at Rockers Rescue came to Ryker’s rescue & are still providing wonderful care for him! Thank you Rocker’s Rescue for the love and care you provide for so many rescue doggies, including those like Ryker who have special needs!
Sweet Roby of Ninna’s Road to Rescue and sweet Minka of Carley’s Angels are the latest recipients of grant awards from Winnie’s Way! Also, shout out to these awesome animal rescue organizations for coming out with some of their adoptable pets: Ninna’s Road to Rescue, Humane Society of Northwest Louisiana, and Caddo Parish Animal Shelter. Meet sweet Maple. This poor girl has been through so much, but thanks to the wonderful folks at the Humane Society of Northwest Louisiana, she is feeling the love and is on the road to recovery! Once she is healed and available for adoption, she will make someone a wonderful pet. She is so sweet! Winnie's Way is honored to be a small part of her recovery with our most recent grant award. Rescue on!
Another great day for Winnie’s Way to be able to help another wonderful animal rescue in our community! Sweet Toko at Carley’s Angels is the latest recipient of a Winnie’s Way grant award! Be sure to check out Carley’s Angels & read about sweet Toko & the other sweet doggies that they have helped!
What a great kickoff check presentation on December 5, 2020. The recipient of the first grant award from Winnie’s Way is Ninna’s Road to Rescue! What a great organization. These folks are on the front lines in rescuing doggies from all over, including doggies with special needs! In fact, our sweet Winnie was rescued by Ninna’s in January 2020! So it was only fitting that they be the first recipient of a Winnie’s Way grant award. So excited to be able to support them in their rescue efforts!
